Wang, who founded the Bitcoin (BTC) mining pool F2Pool, and three others lifted off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, on April 1st. Their three- to five-day mission will be the first to fly over both the North and South poles.
Space-Based Experiments
The crew includes German scientist Rabea Rogge, Norwegian cinematographer Jannicke Mikkelsen, and Australian explorer Eric Philips. They will conduct 22 experiments, including the first X-ray in space alongside mushroom cultivation.
The mission will end with the SpaceX Dragon capsule splashing down off California, which will also be the first time the company has attempted such a mission.
