Web3 Fundraising: 15th – 21st September 2025

Red Cat (Puerto Rico) led the week’s funding with a significant $150 million in post-IPO equity, though the lead investor was undisclosed. The deal closed on September 18th.

In the U.S., Brale, a fintech startup, raised $30 million in a seed round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, also closing on September 18th.

BIO Protocol and Mavryk Network, both U.S.-based, secured $6.9 million and $10 million respectively. BIO’s seed round was backed by Maelstrom, while Mavryk Network’s venture round was led by MultiBank Group.

Spanish company Openverse Global closed an $8 million Series B round on September 17th, with the lead investor undisclosed.

Other notable U.S. funding included:

• Senpi raised $4 million in seed funding from Coinbase Ventures and Lemniscap.

• Capital B in France brought in $5.6 million in post-IPO equity.

In Singapore, Soluna secured $12.6 million in post-IPO debt from Generate Capital, while Oumla raised $2.4 million in seed funding from Core Vision Investments.

Rounding out the week was Epoch Protocol, also based in Singapore, which attracted $1.2 million in pre-seed funding from a consortium of investors including Alphemy Capital, LongHash Ventures, and others.
