Typical Network Activity
XRP led major gains, rising 4% after ProShares received approval to launch three futures-based ETFs on April 30th. ADA, BNB, and ETH also posted modest gains between 1% and 3%.
Monero (XMR) was the standout, soaring over 40% to above $320, its highest level since May 2021. Daily trading volume spiked to $220 million from a $50 million weekly average.

“There’s no clear catalyst for XMR’s rally,” said Min Junng, a research analyst at Presto, noting that network activity remains typical.
Market Reaction
Despite the surge, sentiment remains cautiously bullish. “Bitcoin has stayed above $92K, helped by Trump’s softer stance on crypto tariffs,” said Jupiter Zheng of HashKey Capital, adding that this may help digital assets decouple from U.S. equities.
Global markets were mixed, as the regional index rose 0.6%, S&P 500 futures dropped 0.6%, and gold trimmed recent gains. Asian indexes, including Hong Kong’s Hang Seng, remained flat.
