President Donald Trump is preparing to launch a Monopoly-inspired crypto game where players build virtual properties and earn digital currency.

President Trump recently threatened to revoke Harvard’s tax-exempt status after it rejected White House demands to change hiring, admissions, and teaching policies, accusing the school of promoting political and extremist views.

Harvard pushed back, citing academic freedom, with support from former President Obama. The university has filed a lawsuit to block the loss of over $2.2 billion in federal funding, following similar cuts to other institutions.

Hasbro Responds

The game will be developed by longtime associate Bill Zanker, who also helped create Trump’s NFTs and meme coin.

Hasbro confirmed it hasn’t licensed Monopoly to Trump, and Zanker’s attempt to acquire rights to the 1989 Trump: The Game was unsuccessful. The game is part of a larger push into digital assets, following Trump’s recent trademark filings for a TRUMP-branded metaverse ecosystem.
