Web3 Fundraising: 28th April – 4th May 2025

A surge of investment activity has brought over $530 million into tech and AI startups this week.

True Anomaly led the pack with a $260M round backed by Accel. Cast AI raised $108M from G2 Venture Partners and SoftBank Vision Fund, while Plenful secured $50M with support from Arena Holdings and Mitchell P. Rales.

Other major rounds included Astronomer ($93M, Bain Capital Ventures) and Fuze ($12.2M, Galaxy).

Smaller raises included Oriongo ($5M), AMPLY Discovery ($1.75M, Twin Path Ventures), Hackbook.ai and Kalent (each $1M), and Chaima AI ($500K, a16z Speedrun).
