Fortifying The Future

Daedalus aims to offer maximum security by validating the entire Cardano blockchain, though it requires significant resources. This update hopes to mitigate potential DoS risks after the Plomin hard fork.

In addition to security, the update fixes bugs, such as support for CIP-129 DRep ID and a macOS 10.15 library issue. Users are hopeful for an Android version soon, with one X user highlighting the update as part of Cardano’s effort to “fortify the future.”

Lace Wallet’s Evolution

Lace Wallet has grown significantly over the years, adding features like full-node support, multi-signature wallets, and mobile functionality. In January, Lace 1.19.0 improved performance and speed while introducing the dApp Explore feature.

Seven months ago, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson challenged hackers to break the security of Lace’s PGP-encrypted paper wallet with a $1 million reward. No one succeeded, marking a major milestone for Cardano.
