Replacing Holesky
Hoodi, launched on March 17th, is a new testnet created after previous trials on Holesky and Sepolia faced issues.

Hoodi successfully forked Pectra and reached finality about 30 minutes after activation, bringing Ethereum closer to the upgrade’s mainnet launch. It replaces Holesky, which had issues like lost finality and synchronization problems.
Key Updates
Through Hoodi, developers are testing key updates such as improved crypto wallet experiences, account abstraction (EIP-7702), increasing validator stakes (EIP-7251), and rollup scalability (EIP-7691).
If all goes well, Pectra could launch on the mainnet in late April, though it might be delayed until May or June.
